Travel Systems

A recent development in the world of pushchairs that’s proved instantly popular with parents around the world is the travel system. Designed with a simple pairing of two of the most popular and important baby accessories, the car seat and the pushchair, travel systems are available in a variety of configurations from most of the leading pram manufacturers.

The biggest benefit to a travel system over a traditional push chair is that you can easily move your little cherub from the car, through the shop, back to the car and into the house without waking him. However, while, many parents find the pushchair-plus-car seat combo a good investment, it is important to bear in mind the majority of travel systems have a limited lifespan. The pushchair will probably be suitable for your tot for a number of years, as once the car seat is out grown, the buggy can usually be adaptable to suit the needs of a larger baby, toddler or small child. Unfortunately, in many cases, the car seat is only suitable for babies during first three to six months.
